Dear friends,

For the month of July's meeting, Three Americas is co-sponsoring a special event
to support the peace work of the Fellowship of Reconciliation with the Resource
Center for Nonviolence. A peace village in Colombia has been established and
workers from the U.S.
and other countries go there to stand with the inhabitants of that village to
reinforce their determination to live in peace in a strife-torn land where three
different factions sweep through the countryside, stealing, destroying property
and threatening the populace.

Representatives from the peace village and from the Fellowship will present
slides and a talk and will answer questions at the meeting. This is a very
special opportunity to give support to the people who are foregoing their time
and safety to direct their lives toward non-violence.

The meeting will be on THURSDAY, JULY 13, at 7:00pm. at our house,
717 Walnut Ave., Santa Cruz. Refreshments will be served. We hope that you
will be able to make this important meeting.
